The Dream Realized: Green Recovery Symposium is design to begin a conservation among the Atlanta community about the rapidly growing” Green Economy” and how it can be leveraged to solve two crises-environmental degradation and the massive loss of local jobs.
If you are in the Atlanta Area , this event is the most important event you could attend. A symposium detailing how the emerging Green economy can not only serve as a path to a more sustainable lifestyle, but also provide jobs and financial stability to millions of people.Our involvement in the Green economy is key to creating large scale wealth and stability.
The event will feature a diverse representation of community leaders in a panel discussion designed to educate the community about impending environmental issues and inform the audience about existing and developing career opportunities within Atlanta’s green economy. Some of the featured speakers include Mayor Shirley Frankin, City of Atlanta’s Director of Sustainability, Mandy Schmitt; Julian McQueen of Green for All, Nia Robinson of Environmental Justice Climate Change Initiatives,. Na’Taki Osborne Jelks of Wildlife Federation,and John G. Moore of the City of New Orleans.
